In the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the landscape slowly moves past river banks, neat rows of vines and wide skies, there is a place where time seems to stop and breathe. It is here, amidst history and silence, that we find LEA Winery: a project founded on solid entrepreneurial heritage and strong family intuition.
But LEA is more than just an agricultural business. It is a shared horizon, an idea of beauty and precision is expressed through the vines and realised through wines.
It is the expression of a family energy that has been channelled into something new and enduring, where tradition and research coexist without contradiction, in an equilibrium of listening, observation and respect.

Project
LEA Winery was founded in 2018 by the Spadotto family, who wanted to build an authentic, well-established and innovative winemaking project based on extensive international industrial experience.
The name LEA is the acronym for Lucio, Lorena, Eleonora and Alessandro: four identities, one vision. It is from this cohesion that a business took shape that today extends over 132 hectares, 105 of which are under certified organic management, in the Friuli Grave DOC area.
From the very beginning, the intention was clear: not to replicate existing methods, but to generate a new approach to viticulture, in which innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship can coexist in harmony.
From the planting of the vineyards to the production infrastructure, from the renovation of the old country villa to the creation of two core products – Blancjat and Franc Lizêr – each step was designed to be consistent, respectful, and far-sighted.
LEA Winery is to all effects a young company with the spirit of big business: not only because of the size of the estate or the quality of the wines, but because of the awareness with which it has chosen to occupy a definite space in the contemporary wine scene.

We believe in a wine that is capable of faithfully expressing the nature of the place from which it comes, but also capable of speaking to the present in an inclusive, open and conscious language.
Our mission is to grow and make wine with respect for the land, for people and for the future, integrating agricultural excellence with state-of-the-art technology and responsible production practices.
What guides us is not the desire to emulate existing models, but the desire to build a new one: a space in which organic is not just certification, but a daily operating principle; in which research is not an accessory element, but the very driver of the project.
With a vertical approach that goes from the vineyard to the wine glass, we want to restore value to the experience of wine as an authentic gesture, as a choice of quality and as an opportunity for sharing.
This is why our work does not end in the bottle, but continues in the story, in the relationship, in the consistency between what we are and what we do.
